NSABSW Africentric Clinical Specialization Cohort

Big News!

We’re excited to announce the launch of the NSABSW Africentric Clinical Specialization Cohort (ACSC) —made possible through a grant awarded by the Office of Addictions and Mental Health and in collaboration with the Nova Scotia College if Social Workers (NSCSW).

Through this initiative, we are supporting ten brilliant Black clinicians —all experienced, master’s-level social workers already doing powerful work in the field—on their journey to clinical specialization and launching their own private practices.

This is a major win for our community, expanding our capacity to meet mental health needs with culturally grounded, Africentric care, led by those who already know and serve us best.
